Two controls under the message box decide how your next message is answered: the model, and the intensity. Both are yours to change at any time.

Choose a model

  1. Open the model control in the message box (it shows the current model’s name).
  2. Pick a model from the list. The list can be searched: type part of a name.
  3. Send your message. That model answers it.

Models are shown by name, for example GLM-4.7 Flash, not by a long identifier. If two models would read the same, a second line tells them apart. Hover over the control to see more about the selected model.

Choose an intensity

Intensity is the budget you give the model for one reply. A higher intensity allows it more resources for that reply; it does not change which model answers. There are six levels, from lowest to highest:

  • Nano
  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
  • Extra High
  • Max

Medium is the default. Open the intensity control in the message box and pick another level to change it.

When a change takes effect

  • A change applies to your next message, not to a reply that is already running.
  • If an intensity you chose earlier is no longer offered, the control reads “Choose an intensity” until you pick one. Crossbox does not pick a different level for you.
